During monsoon, algae can grow fast due to rainwater and humidity, so bi-weekly or weekly shock treatment + algae control becomes necessary. For low-usage pools or winter months, once every 3–4 weeks may be sufficient. Our basic pool cleaning package is designed to keep your pool hygienic and visually appealing between deep cleans. It includes skimming the surface to remove leaves, insects and debris, brushing walls and floor to loosen dirt and algae, vacuuming the pool floor to remove settled particles, backwashing/cleaning the filter, testing and balancing pH, chlorine and other chemicals, and checking the overall water condition. We also clean the tile line (waterline scum) and empty skimmer/pump baskets. The service usually takes 45–90 minutes depending on pool size. After cleaning, we leave your pool sparkling and provide a short report of water parameters so you know the condition. This package is perfect for weekly or fortnightly maintenance.

A full one-time deep cleaning or pool start-up service (ideal when taking over a neglected pool, after long shutdown, heavy algae, or before first use of the season) typically takes 3–6 hours depending on pool size, condition and water volume. The process includes complete draining (if required), acid washing or aggressive brushing of walls & floor, thorough vacuuming, deep filter cleaning/backwash, complete chemical balancing (shock chlorination, algaecide, clarifier), tile line scrubbing, skimmer/weir cleaning, pump & heater inspection, and final water testing. For very bad cases we may need 2 visits (first to shock & brush, second to vacuum & balance). After the job we hand over crystal-clear water and give maintenance tips so the pool stays clean longer.

Yes – algae treatment and shock chlorination are among our most requested services, especially during monsoon and summer when algae growth is rapid due to heat, rainwater and organic debris. We first brush the walls & floor aggressively to break up algae, then apply high-dose shock chlorine (calcium hypochlorite or liquid chlorine) along with algaecide. For black algae we may use targeted algaecide and scrubbing tools. After 24–48 hours we return to vacuum the dead algae, backwash filter and re-balance chemicals. Most green pools become clear within 2–5 days with proper follow-up. We also advise on prevention – regular chlorine maintenance, brushing, and covering the pool when not in use. Severe cases may need partial drain & refill, which we also provide.

Chemical balancing is the heart of safe and clear pool water. During every visit we test pH, total alkalinity, calcium hardness, cyanuric acid (stabilizer), free chlorine and combined chlorine using digital testers and reagents. We then adjust chemicals accordingly – adding pH increaser/decreaser, alkalinity up/down, calcium chloride, stabilizer or chlorine as needed. Proper balance prevents cloudy water, algae, eye/skin irritation and equipment corrosion. We record readings before and after adjustment and explain them to you so you understand the condition. For new or refilled pools we establish ideal parameters from scratch. Regular balancing (weekly/bi-weekly) significantly reduces the need for expensive shock treatments and algae removal later.
